It's Valentine day 2011

  This is the 1st time I've celebrated Vday with my dear dear. He did a bouquet of roses all by himself using RM1 and RM10 notes, really appreciate it.

    We headed down to bangsar at 8pm as our dinner will only start at 9pm. There were some misunderstanding between the workers at 21 as dear dear already booked a place for 2. Anyway, the captain is kind enough to spare us a table although the restaurant almost full with bookings.

  He is a really great man, supportive, know lots of thing, caring, generous (in his own way) and so on. We both learn a lot form each other.
Thank God for sending this "macho" man into my life and i believe that God will continue to bless us as we honour Him first. God is really a good provider.

意想不到的事

    今天是二月的第一个华文聚会，也是初十一，还在过年。

    因为刚刚做完晚班所以今天有点累，但是我还是选择去教会。发生了几个意想不到的事。今天 pastor Kevin 竟然会在我们的中文堂讲道，他讲的道即轻松又有意识。很配合到明天就要来临的情人节。

    我也没想到这次会在教会里收到红包，很开心。谢谢你们 Karen Chue and Esther Woo。

VICHY, health is beautiful

    On the Saturday morning, I purposely bring my dear to I Utama for this vichy free facial cleanser exchange roadshow. We arrive there quite early and there was no one queing for it. As for what I remembered, last time these sort of roadshow sure have to be there early if not, you could not get the free stuff...

    So dear dear went to Canton-I for his brunch. While he was enjoying his food, i went up to watson to start queing. It was really surprisingly not many people quring for it. So I get the exchange facial form within minitues...yahoo...

This is what I get, 100ml facial cleanser

Hainan Tea, SS2

    Few days back after church service, dear dear and I been wondering where to have dinner. There come again this such problem. At first we planned to go to Damansara for a buffet but it was too late for a dinner buffet already. So dear dear suggested to go to SS2 and have dinner in one of the restaurant that he often go with his cell group members.

This place is situated nearby murni and it's a corner lot. The ambiance is nice and cozy. They also provide free hand phone charging and free WiFi for your convenient.

Dear dear was very hungry that day because he had been starve without food for 2 days (dunno how he can survive with that). So he ordered a chicken curry rice RM8.90. The rice was fragrant enough and the chicken was definitely tender, plus the well blended sambal. Yummy

As for me, i ordered a curry noodle with steam chicken RM7.90. I changed it to hor fun as i'm not a mee lover. The texture of the hor fun is really smooth as silk, it just silk into your mouth easily. But still, i preferred papa rich's chicken curry noodle more.

We order an entra dish of Hainan cheong fun special RM5.50. It came with 2 meat balls and few fu chuk on top of the cheong fun. The sweet sauce goes very well with the cheong fun.

We ordered a plain water RM0.80 and honey jasmine tea hot RM3.90 as dear dear was not feeling well and these few days keep on raining cats and dogs. Overall, this place is nice for a higher yamcha place and the price was reasonable too.

CK Dental Surgery, sunway pyramid

    Today was a busy day for me in nursery. Being a TL on that particular day with the number of 13+2 babies, it's a bit stressful. At the early part of the shift was OK, not that busy. But when the time was almost hitting my off duty hour, suddenly my colleague told me that 1 of the discharged baby's blood group was not same as both of the parents. The father insisted to do a repeat blood test for his baby. So there goes the busyness.

    To release stress, I went to sunway pyramid for window shopping and wanted to buy 雪蛤膏 but they don't sell the individual pack anymore. After thinking twice, i decided not to buy it. I decided to walk around hoping that i can find another shop that will have it. As I walked by, I saw a poster showing that there are dental clinic in sunway pyramid. So I called them up and make an appointment, the lady asked me to come today as there are available slot for me.

    The dental clinic was situated in the corner lot, and the interior design was simple yet nice. After I register, within few minutes, the nurse asked me to go in for dental checked up. This is the 1st time I met Dr Siow. After he checked my teeth, he consult me. Wow, his explaination was good, and detail. He covers almost all the area form how to brush my teeth in the correct ways till the condition of my teeth and what i should expect in the later days as my wisdom teeth is growing out.

    The total bill came out RM72 (RM30 for consultation, the rest goes for dental products). I asked him so when is my next appoinment, I got supprised that he told me that they will send a post card to me after 1 month and there will be stated the nest appoinment for me. WOW...

Home Cafe, Brem mall

    On my off day i went to brem mall (where my dear is working) for lunch. Since he hasn't have much time to spent, so we decided to have lunch in brem mall itself. My very first tough, is there any nice food in brem mall? Then I remember that once he took me to home cafe, but unfortunately it close on that particular day.  So we try our luck and go straight up to 3rd floor and see whether they are opening for business or not.

Lucky for us, yes they are open.

We find our comfy spot to sit and ordered our food. While waiting for the food to be ready, we had a window shopping on the home deco item. Actually this home cafe is situated inside of Home deco. The concept of this store is really unique. The owner place a cafe inside of the store despite selling home furniture and deco, what a creative thought.



American breakfast set RM6.90

Dear dear had an American breakfast set for lunch. Yes, they still sell breakfast set for lunch. The sausage is slightly over-cooked, so it's not that juicy. It comes with a cup of coffee as well. The aroma of the coffee is really fragrant. I'm not a coffee lover, though this cup of coffee allured me to have a sip on it.

Chicken Lasagna RM8.50

For me, I had a chicken Lasagna. It was too heavy for me, that i did not finish it.



Tuna mayo RM6.50

We ordered an extra tuna mayo for lunch because we think we might not have enough food to feed our stomach. We were totally wrong!!! Finally we tapao back the tuna mayo because none of us can stuff any food into our mouth anymore.
If you are a staff who are working in Brem mall, you are entitle for a 10% discount. What a nice deal.

The Bakery, Sri Hartamas

    On a hot sunny afternoon, we are wondering where to have our lunch and dear dear suggested that we have our lunch at Hartamas. While thinking of Hartamas, The Bakery popped up in his mind and he just drove me there. We passed by Aunty Nat (local & western) restaurant and suddenly dear dear told me that the owner of this restaurant is Harith Iskandar ( a malaysia comedian). While i was still wondering, out of some where else, we saw Harith Iskandar walking towards Aunty Nat with his ''body guard'', i guess!

    This restaurant is tucked in a corner of the shop lots. They provide a very good deal for set lunch. RM15 with a main dish, dessert and a drink. If you are willing to pay a bit more of RM5, you will be given a soup of the day on top of the RM15 set lunch. So, you will be expecting a big crowd during lunch hour.

   While waiting for our food to come, i had a quick glance of their freshly baked breads and pastry. I came across this pastry - salmon quince. What a weird name but it looks tempting to me. So, i give it a try.

Not like most of the pastry that have sweet taste, this one taste salty. Consider the amount of salmon they put in to bake this, it's worth for the price RM7.90 (i really cant re-call the exact price)

 I had beef spaghetti. It is quite a big plate of spaghetti, but still i managed to finished it.

Dear dear had a carbonara pasta, it taste better than mine. Within minutes, the plate was empty. Thumbs up for this.

     And for the dessert, we are expecting for home bake cheese cake, but it turn out to be chocolate cake. Anyway, it taste quite nice and yummy-licious.
